Today was a marvellous day. 2 periods of fun watching animated movies during chinese.
There is 2 movies we watched today...though was only half watched, it is highly recommended!



The first movie was about a war in japanese. Features two brave kids, a brother and a younger sister, both striving to survive in the tough condition. Before the war, the brother (a commander's son) instructed his mother to go to the bomb shelter and shelter from the bombs first. His mother left, trusting his son to take care of his sister. He was busy burying food products in the ground so they will not die out of starvation after that. After burying the goods, he piggy back his chubby sister out of the house and looking for a safe hiding place. The enemies dropped bombs at their village. Fortunately, they survived due to his techniques taught by his father. His father is now fighting the war. The survivals were called to gather at the school. He could not find their mother, so they headed towards school hoping his mother will be wating for them there. When they reached, he was called to leave his sister at the hands of his aunt. He was going to meet a devastating part of his life.

He met his mother laying in one of the bed ment for those injured. The whole of her body was wraped in bandage. Almost 99% of her body was burnt and naught to survive. She died and was criminated. And what's more, her son was left alone to protect his sister and to survive this war. He lied to sister that their mother only had a minor injury and needs to stay beded in school. She cried. He sent letters to his father, but to no avail. He gets no reply. His father had also died in the war. Their money in the bank were used to make weapons to counter the enemies's attack, leaving them no money to buy food.


Luckily, they still have their aunt to take care of them. But as lives get tougher, the attitude of their aunt changed. He was lectured for doing nothing but play with his sister. He was also criticised for not helping out when needed. Food gets limited and they could'nt take the attitude of their aunt any longer. They moved out...their mistake. They moved into an empty bomb shelter and made that their home. At night, when there is no light, they used fireflies as their only source of light. They could manage only the first few days. Soon...his sister said, "Mummy is not coming back..." she sobed, "I know she died...I want her back brother!" Tears rolled down from both siblings faces.


His sister soon died of tough conditions...then, shortly, he died.
This recommended movie is called Grave of the Fireflies...

It shows the importance of peace in this world. Think about it... when you were left alone because your parents died in war. Shattering your live, you see your own mother burnt till she could not be recognised. What will you feel? HOW will you feel?!


A good example is the americans fighting the iraq, causing war. But why so? They HAVE NO evidence that iraq had created weapons to fight agains the americans or created the attack on 11september ! BUT PRESIDENT BUSH GAVE DEMAND THAT THERE BE WAR IN IRAQ ALTHOUGH MANY AMERICANS PROTESTED ON IT! He WILL get a retribution! Should'nt he be pinelised by the world for this decision? Why still learn history since we still WANT to repeat it! BUSH's position SHOULD be taken away! HE's NOT fit to BE a president at ALL! Should'nt a president be wise and smart? He's a dumbass who just want to create crap for the world and torture the lives of others! DEFINE PEACE? Why do the world still create weapons since they want peace? Why not be abit sociable?

This time, this animation is about nature.
Its about a prince who risked his life saving his village from a god turned demon. The god was cursed with hatred because of corruption of a beautiful forest. Once the prince touched the curse, he will be infected all over his body slowly, especially his flesh and bone. Unfortunately, his right hand got the curse after his arm was grabbed by the god demon. He shot the it by the eyes and it evantually died. It was revealed to be a huge god boar who was once most powerful in the forest but was degraded after the humans made deforestation to obtain tin from it. He was filled with hatred after the forest was burnt and hi-technology rifle shot into his guts. He transformed into a demon.

A mysterious old lady from the village helped to foresight his fate and future. She told him that if he wants to survive from the curse, he will have to be repatriated. He was to fated to meet a princess of the gods living in the wild of the forest. During his trip, he found that the curse had gave him super natural powers and stamina. He came into a village that creates weapon to fight the princess and was stunned that the princess had dared to invade the village alone. The prince saved her from being killed but in return, he was excidentally shot by a rifle by a women. He did not die straight away but was oozing blood profusely. He went out of the village with the princess and went partailly unconsious after that. He fall of from his mountain deer he rided. The princess's gardian, a wolf god wanted to crunch his head off but was restrained from doing so. He was still bleeding and was about to die. But the spirit of the forest, a multi horn like deer came over to heal him. This was the legendary deer which people know that it could any injury and disease. Yet, it could not lift the curse. The prince and princess created relations togather. But sadly, the mother wolf god dead because of the evil people who wanted tin from the forest. All gods countered their attackes and the curese got stronger. Sadly, they killed the spirit of the forest which was the main god why the forst survive. Though the prince and princess could revive it, they could not save the forest. But miracles happens... the tree spirits revived the forest and the forest spirit lived.

So whats the message of this animation... It's trying to convey to us, that the forest is hopes for many animals...and that it is the only area where they lived, where miracles can happen. Please... help stop deforestation. Think of others smaller and weaker then us before doing something that corrupts them for life!
